Chimp Trekking in Nyungwe National Park

Start in Kigali with time at the Genocide Memorial before heading south through Rwanda’s green highlands to Nyungwe National Park, one of Africa’s oldest montane rainforests.

Chimp trekking starts before sunrise. When you find them, nothing about it is calm: chimps sprint, scream, drop out of trees, and disappear before you’ve processed what just happened…in the best possible way. Stay an extra day for the canopy walkway, suspended 50 meters above the forest floor.

“Our family finally got the trip we always dreamt of. Every detail was perfect.”
