I caught the international travel bug early, much to my parents’ financial dismay. After discovering Nutella at European breakfast buffets, I knew the world was calling. In college, I famously asked the study abroad office, “How do I study abroad for the rest of my life?” That question shaped my career, leading me to teach refugee women, edit for Forbes Travel Guide, and spend nine years with a destination management company.

Today, I still chase the next adventure, filling my husband’s inbox with flight deals and Instagram posts featuring hotels I have decided we absolutely need to visit. These days, our three-year-old is sometimes invited, too.
