I joined the luxury travel industry in 2014 after four successful years as a copy editor in the medical industry and earning a degree in Journalism from Fordham University. As the son of an interior designer mother and a developer father, I grew up traveling and idolizing hotels with exceptional service and impeccably designed interiors.
Leveraging my experience with some of the world’s top properties and my attention to detail, I became known for helping boutique luxury travel agencies evolve to meet the needs of the modern luxury traveler.
I fully believe Marrakech has the best hotel product in the world and will spend hours convincing you to agree. I currently reside in Manhattan with my wife, Jane, and our miniature dachshund, Penelope, whose ideal trip is perched in our window overlooking the park.

I’ve spent more than a decade exploring the world as The Five Foot Traveler and have traveled to 118 countries, visiting all seven continents twice. Along the way, I’ve crossed the Northwest Passage by expedition ship, trekked with mountain gorillas in Uganda, road-tripped across Mongolia, and polar plunged in Antarctica. As a professional photographer, I’m particularly drawn to destinations that combine dramatic landscapes, rich culture, and incredible wildlife encounters.
With over 13 years of experience, I’ve partnered with destinations, luxury hotels, cruise lines, and travel brands across the globe while sharing stories from some of the world’s most remarkable places. I’m recognized by Forbes as a “Game Changer of the Travel Industry,” and by MSN as one of the “Top 5 Travel Experts.”
Today, I’m the Director of Content at Rate Travel Club. In practice, that means I’ve been to these places, I know what makes them worth visiting, and I write about them the way I’d talk to a friend deciding where to book.

“Being on the 100th passenger ships in history to complete the full Northwest Passage, from Greenland to Nome through the Canadian High Arctic, on a 28-day expedition. Traveling through one of the world’s most remote and least-visited regions, while following the legendary route sought by early explorers, remains one of the most extraordinary experiences of my career.”

Travel has been a huge part of my life and career for more than 10 years. I’ve had the opportunity to work across five-star hotels, travel agencies, and destination management companies, giving me a well-rounded perspective on creating exceptional travel experiences.
I love helping people plan trips that feel personal and memorable, whether that’s a special celebration, a family getaway, or a dream vacation. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited are Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Ireland. There’s nothing better than helping clients create experiences they’ll talk about for years to come.

I caught the international travel bug early, much to my parents’ financial dismay. After discovering Nutella at European breakfast buffets, I knew the world was calling. In college, I famously asked the study abroad office, “How do I study abroad for the rest of my life?” That question shaped my career, leading me to teach refugee women, edit for Forbes Travel Guide, and spend nine years with a destination management company.
Today, I still chase the next adventure, filling my husband’s inbox with flight deals and Instagram posts featuring hotels I have decided we absolutely need to visit. These days, our three-year-old is sometimes invited, too.

To put it plainly, travel has always been “it” for me. I was born and raised in Florida where beach trips and long weekends at Disney World were the norm. While I have fond memories of those experiences, I always knew there was more out there and I was eager to explore. A school trip to Italy at age 13 gave me that chance, and I’ve never looked back.
It wasn’t until much later on, and many travels in between, that I was able to turn that passion into a career. After seven years working in wealth management and finance, I decided to pivot and use my planning skills for something that truly excited me. In 2021, I joined a destination management company and spent five years designing itineraries focused on the UK, Ireland, and France.
I’m excited to expand that reach across the globe and continue to create custom itineraries that allow you to not just see the world, but truly experience it, while collecting long-lasting memories along the way.

I come from a family of adventure lovers, raised to believe that the longer road was sometimes more important than the destination. That instinct has carried through years in luxury travel, from working aboard private yachts, to writing as a travel editor, to building bespoke itineraries. I’ve scuba-dived the walls off Saba, saddled up on a Montana dude ranch, eaten my way through Naples, and nuzzled a Highland cow in the Scottish rain.
What I love about planning is the quiet work behind a seamless trip, the things a traveler never has to think about because someone already has. The difference is in the relationships: the tables held, the doors opened, the people who make a destination feel like it belongs to you. Wherever you’re headed, I’ll make sure the trip feels effortless and designed entirely around you.

My love for travel began at an early age when my mom and I spent nearly ten years dreaming about taking a mother-daughter trip to Europe for my sweet sixteen. What started as a backpacking adventure evolved into exploring Italy with beautiful hotels, museums, and unique local dining experiences. That journey sparked a lifelong passion for discovering new places and immersing myself in the culture of each destination.
I believe the best travel experiences come from slowing down, connecting with locals, and embracing what makes each place unique. As a travel designer, my goal is to create meaningful, personalized trips that leave lasting memories for you and the people you love. I hope every journey I plan inspires you the way my first trip inspired me.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been curious about the world. Maybe it’s because I grew up hearing stories about my mother and her family growing up in Australia and traveling the world every year to places like Thailand, Nepal, Afghanistan, and throughout Europe. I knew this curiosity and excitement were something I wanted to share with others, and a big reason I pursued work in travel planning.
I love creating memorable travel experiences for people. With an obvious love for traveling myself, some of my favorite places I’ve visited include Menorca, Tangier, and Sarandë.
